The Centre on Philanthropy held their annual Volunteer Recognition Reception at ACE on Monday December 5th, 2011 at 5:30pm. This years PHC recipients were Mr. Wendel Furbert (Senior team assistant coach, PDL Coach, Youth girls coach and Futsol league coach) and Kali Lespere (Girls team player, Futsol team player and 3 year U6 helper). Congratulations to both of them and a heartfelt Thank you for your hard work and support.

The Women’s Futsal League kicked off on November 26th at the Bermuda College Gym and the results were PHC 9 Hamilton Parish 0 Kali Lespere scored five times to lead PHC to victory over Hamilton Parish, Coyshea Fox scored a hat-trick and Keunna Dill added the other. |

| PHC's Coach Angela and Coach Wade made a surprise stop to check on some of their U6's that attend Warwick Pre-School. The boys were very happy to see them once they got over the shock and their mouths could close. The Coaches were happy to know that all of them are doing very well. |

SOCCER SEASON SETS SKS RECORD |
The Cardinals won the Ray Brown Cup as Western New England regular season champions for the seventh consecutive season. South Kent was also ranked as the number one team in all Western New England with a 10-0 record in league play and a 16-0-1 record overall. The undefeated regular season earned the Cardinals the number one seed in the Class B tournament. READ MORE

CLAIMING THE QUAD! - ST. ANDREW'S COLLEGE |
The 2011 edition of CISAA (Canadian Independent School Athletic Association) Senior Soccer Final kicked off in Aurora, Ontario on the afternoon of November 9th, 2011 with the host Saints squaring off against the Blue Dogs of Appleby College. Two young Bermudians – Khiari Lespere (age 16 ) of Pembroke Hamilton Club Zebras and William White (age 16) of North Village Rams have played with St. Andrew’s Varsity squad for the last two years. The game finished 3-1 for the home team and St. Andrew’s claimed their fourth trophy (The Quad!) of the season and first league playoff title since 2001 (the quad including a Canadian National Title in October!). With a final record of 22-2-2, the 1st Soccer team will go down as one of the most dominant teams in the school’s storied history. |
U10 and U12 at Whites Grocery |
On Saturday November 19th, PHC's U10 and U12 teams were grocery packing at Whites Grocery Store to raise funds for their football trip in August 2012. Their next fundraising event is a Car wash and bake sale on December 3rd at Warwick Esso from 10am until 6pm. Please go out and support. They are also offering yard clean up as well as a new fund raising option.
